Eyelash extensions are booming in the beauty industry now more than ever before! They have become the most popular way of wearing eyelashes! But for some, it’s not clear what the difference is when you get eyelash extensions VS clusters! People are getting cluster lashes and assuming they are wearing eyelash extensions….. NO! Eyelash extensions are a much healthier and a more natural-looking way to enhance your natural eyelashes!
Although from a distance cluster lashes can appear to be eyelash extensions, if you look at them closely, you will be able to see the difference! Cluster lashes are a group of about 15-20 eyelashes, attached to a hard, thick ball at the end to hold them all together. The way these are placed, they are meant to just sit in the middle or on top of your natural lashes! When you wear this type of lashes, because of the way they are placed, the adhesive is glued to a GROUP of your natural lashes! If someone continues to wear these lashes, in time they will eventually start to see damage to their own natural eyelashes. This is caused by the way they are glued together, & when a cluster lash comes off, it takes a CHUNK of your natural eyelashes off with it! This is the most unhealthy way to wear your lashes!
Eyelash extensions, on the other hand, are safe, healthy, and give the same effect, (if not a better one) when done by the right person! Eyelash extensions give the same volume look as a cluster, the difference is the way they are made & placed. Volume lash extensions are individually made by hand, one by one, to create the desired look of that particular client’s lash set! When making a volume fan, you group together 2-15 lashes, (depending on the set and thickness of the lash being used & the natural lash it’s being placed on) and dip the base of the fan into adhesive, making it so thin that it’s hardly even noticeable! Once you dip the base in the adhesive, your natural lashes are isolated with lashing tweezers so that the volume lash fan can be placed on 1 of your natural eyelashes! When the lash is placed onto only 1 natural eyelash, it makes it so that none of your other lashes are being torn out, causing no damage! Your natural lash continues to grow in its natural lash cycle as if there is nothing there! It’s literally like magic! Beautiful and damage free! Who wouldn’t want that!?
